MSP430FR2633: capcitive touch sensing issue using msp430fr2633

Please check if the hardware CAPIO pin connection and the software pin assignment are the same.

And are you debugging with CapTIvate Design Center?

yes i have used same CAPIO PIN for my design also but we don't have CAPACITIVE-PGMR board so we cannot connect it to capacitive design center.
can it be tuned using Software parameters in source code?
If there are any important parameters to tune kindly suggest.

hi Ling Zhu,

i have verified about CAPIO assignment which is correct.
our software team tested this code ,but even before we had tested all the example codes with our application code but its button electrode is not sensing the touch event .

Earlier we had tested the application code on Capacitive touch development board of TI which had 8 buttons and a slider it worked fine,but now as we have changed the design to 5 buttons and a slider when we test the code in our design its not working.

what may be the reason?

thanks for your effort and cooperation.......

1. we have found out the issue and solved now working properly (button and slider)

2. but need to see about proximity right now its not giving any response is there any special care to be taken for this proximity design?

issue was not i the code nor in my hardware design but as per MSP430FR2633 datasheet suggestion i had connected unused capio pin to gnd so once i removed that track it started working.
