Other Parts Discussed in Thread: MSP430FR5969, MSPDS, MSP430FR2433, MSP-FET
Hello team,
Would you be able to help out with below customer question:
Can you confirm that the RGE24A boards works with the USB-FET. Here is the log:
C:\ti\MSPFlasher_1.3.14>msp430flasher -i DETECT
* -----/|-------------------------------------------------------------------- *
* / |__ *
* /_ / MSP Flasher v1.3.14 *
* | / *
* -----|/-------------------------------------------------------------------- *
*
* Evaluating triggers...done
* Executing FET detection sweep:
- 1: MSP-FET430UIF @ COM5
- Select FET number: 1
* Initializing interface @ COM5...done
* Checking firmware compatibility:
* FET firmware is up to date.
* Reading FW version...done
* Setting VCC to 3000 mV...done
* Accessing device...
# Exit: 16
# ERROR: Unknown device
* Powering down...done
* Disconnecting from device...done

* Driver : closed (Internal error)

*/
I did a test by simply unplugging the RGE24A and plugging in a RGZ48C board:
C:\ti\MSPFlasher_1.3.14>msp430flasher -i DETECT
* -----/|-------------------------------------------------------------------- *

And that works fine. I don’t have time right now to troubleshoot your board, can you ask somebody to confirm that the RGE24A works.
Please send me the log showing the communications.
