Hello team,

Hope you are well and had good time off. Please see below customer question:

MSP430F672xIPN:

  1. What is the typical bluetooth stack size on this processor for the above module?
  2. Can the 24b A2D be simultaneously sampled?

Regards,

Randhir

    1. What is the typical bluetooth stack size on this processor for the above module?

This is referring to the CC2564MODA - CC256x MSP430 TI Bluetooth Stack. GATT Profile and HFP assisted mode will be used.

  • Hello Randhir, Tim,

    1. This will greatly depend on the compiler, profile, and modes being used. The SPPLEDemo_Lite (using GATT) takes 132 KB and the HFPDemo is 147 KB. The Dual Mode Bluetooth Forum will be able to provide more assistance regarding expected stack sizes.
    2. The SD24 can be simultaneously sampled but you may experience a delay in servicing the ISR or reporting back values given the BLE overhead. I would recommend DMA transfers from the SD24IFG trigger to reduce overhead.

    Regards,
    Ryan
