Hi

Now I'm facing following error when I try to connect to device.

What is the cause of this error?

BestRegards

  • Hi,

Is the CAPTIVATE-METAL board properly connected to the CAPTIVATE-FR2633 which is in turn connected to the CAPTIVATE-PGMR? Are all jumpers properly installed in the correct positions? Have you used these boards and this setup before without any issue? If so, has anything in your setup been changed recently? Try re-programming the MSP430FR2633 and see if this alters the behavior. Make sure to disconnect from the CCS/IAR debugger interface before attempting communication through the CapTIvate Design Center.

  • Hi Ryan

    Thank you for your reply.

I think the boards and the setup will be correct because the debug is functional from CCS.
And this error is not occurred in other PC.

The PC which has this problem have never been connected using captivate design center.
It did not work even if the software was re-installed.

I had loaded and run generated project using debugger before attempting communication through the CapTIVAte Design Center like following indication. Is it correct way?

  • Hi na na78,

The issue is most likely related to your JRE, please see this related post: e2e.ti.com/.../510838
