Hi everyone.

I would like to know if I can monitor the energy consumption of a remote device.

For example: I'm in my office, place A, and I want to monitor the energy consumption of a device in location B, which can be reached via the Internet.

If possible?

Davide,

Using energy trace, you could a have PC connected to your board that is running CCS with energy trace, then remotely connect to that PC.

Another option that would not require a PC connect to your board may be the boosterpack shown below which measures current/voltage and connects to WiFi, which includes an HTTP server capability.

The device have only SIM card. So it's not possible?

Davide,

If you can put a probe between the supply to the SIM card, you could use the IMETER-BOOST solution.
