Part Number: TIDM-1019

Hi,

While i was calibrating the EVM with default parameters and  checked the "adv.calibration table" in waveform tab, I got an error saying that minimum volume flow rate falls outside lowest alpha min.

I am using USS_02_20_00_16.

What must i do to resolve this issue?

Varsha V

  • Hi Varsha,
You need to provide an “Expected VFR” that is below the “Flow Minimum” which has been specified. The purpose of the “Flow Minimum” is that the user will not have an “Expected VFR” that is below that user specified “Flow Minimum”. Can you try reducing your Expected VFR?

    Hi Varsha,
Apologies, I meant "Can you try reducing your expected "Flow Minimum" above.

    Hi Leo,

I tried lowering the "flow minimum" and the error didn't appear but my meter remains uncalibrated.

    1) Expected VFR was 400 LPH but EVM was displaying around 180 LPH when "adv.Calibration table" was checked.

    2) I also observed the the value goes to a negative value when we update calibration.

So what could be the reason this is happening ?

    Hi Varsha,

Can you use the “Save Configuration” button. It will save a default “USSCalibConfig.xml”. It will also be good if you can save the “USSConfig.xml” from the “Parameters” panel and post this also so that we can determine what might be causing the problem you are seeing.

    Hello Varsha,

There is a bug in the 2.20.00.04 version of the code which requires the workaround discussed in the thread below for functional calibration. I also have some details on how to use the real time calibration function in the GUI.

We will be releasing a new version of the software within the next week which will also include this fix, so you could also wait for this release. Sorry for the inconvenience. Let me know if you have other questions.

    Best Regards,

    Eddie
