Hello,
I'm trying to connect the CapTivate MCU development kit to CapTIvate Designer Center, but it returns the following error message:
After some tests, I suspect there is some issue with the HID bridge. On the Programming Board (CAPTIVATE-PGMR), LED5 is lit, but LED4 isn't, so I'm afraid the MSP430F5528 has been overwritten by some firmware update. I tried to fix it with MSP430Ware Python Firmware Upgrader, I followed the steps to enter BSL Mode, but the software doesn't recognize my device.
I found the HID Bridge binary file at C:\ti\msp\CapTIvateDesignCenter_1.80.00.30\CapTIvateDesignCenter\firmware, but I'm not sure about how to flash it to MSP430F5528.
I would like to confirm if the attached file is the correct recovery firmware and, if so, how can I flash it to the programming board HID bridge microcontroller? Can it be done via USB or another flashing device is necessary? I have a CC2640R2 LaunchPad kit, if the firmware flashing is only possible via JTAG, can I use that kit? How can I do it?
