MSP430FR2633: MSP430FR2633 in Automotive Application

Part Number: MSP430FR2633

Hi TI Experts,

I have customer that wish to use MSP430FR2633 in automotive application for the Captivate feature.

As seen is datasheet, the temperature range is -40'C to 85'C and it is not automotive grade.

Please advice is there any automotive grade Captivate MCU?

If not, is MSP430FR2633 suitable to use in automotive application?

    Hi,
    There is no automotive grade part number for MSP430FR2633. And there is no automotive grade Captivate MCU so far.
    Regarding the MSP430FR2633 can be used in automotive application, it depends on the application requirement: whether it is factory-installed products or not, whether the temperature range can meet the requirement, whether the specification can meet the tests requirement.
