hi,

am not able to import simplelink MSP432 SDK watson IoT plugin

am getting error as

how can i import and use that project

sdk 3_10_11
in ccs it is not connecting to cloud

hi,
i followed the below link steps for msp432 as gateway

but am not able to publish data thrigh mqtt to ibm plateform
step task8 in CONNACK am getting connection error problem
may i get any suggessionj

Hello Samu,

Can you confirm if you are behind a proxy connection? If you are behind a proxy connection then the connection to the internet won't work.

hi,

that probelm was improper installation of ccs

in ti 15,4 gateway msp432e401y example how ethernet connection is maintained is it interlinked with mqtt or both are different functionalities?

how can i use gsm in place of ethernet in the same code?

any suggessions

Hello Samu,

So the original question of this post is resolved!

The MQTT protocol on MSP432E4 works on top of a TCP/IP stack called NDK. Like another TCP/IP stack, the NDK can work on any Physical layer that is capable of handling TCP/IP packets. In the SimpleLink MSP432E4 SDK, NDK only supports Etherenet connection.

If you want to use other Physical layers (like a GSM module) then you will have to write your own driver that will receive data from the GSM module and sends it to the NDK. NDK's Ethernet Driver Design Guide could help in understanding the effort involved.
