Dear All,

We are using MSP - FET  Flash Emulation Tool since from last 3 Years. we have three numbers of Tools.

One of them have some issue that we can't find. Error is shown as below. if we are using another tool then we can do programming but if we use defective one then we got error. so how can we solve?

    Hello,

    Does this one MSP-FET ever work now?  

    I would try to program with it using Uniflash and see if it triggers a firmware update.  Can you try that a report back?

    Hi JD,

    I have tried with all type of Tool like CCS, IAR, Uniflash, Elprotonic,etc...

    but got same error message from all Tool.

    Hello,

    Sorry for the delay. When you connect to the different tools, did it ever prompt for a firmware update?  

    If this is the only MSP-FET that is not working with your debugging setup and this is a newer issue, then it seems possible that it might have been damaged somehow, although unclear how.  It seems to still be communicating fine with the PC, but maybe the MCU interface side was damaged. 

    Can you also try swapping cables?  If the issue follows the unit, then it might be time to replace it.
