I want to log the sliderposition with CAPTIVATE-FR2633 and CAPTIVATE-PGMR.
Is it possible to send data over uart to a terminal program on my laptop?Whats the uart api and whats the api to get the sliderposition?
You can definitely send the data over to a terminal.
I first will recommend to use CapTIvate Design Center to visualize the position information.

It now works for me with the function CAPT_getSensorPosition(&sliderSensor); it simply returns the sliderpostion.
But how can I acess all the raw data from each sliderelement?
My goal is to log sliderbehaviour over UART, because the logging from the designcenter is very slow and skips a lot of values.
I also couldn't manage to get a higher baudrate. I found this line in the uartbackchannel demo project in demo.c: .peripheralParameters.clockPrescalar = SMCLK_FREQ_MHZ * 1000000 / 9600 / 16but increasing the baudrate to another value didnt work. Is there any other software changes neccessary or is it limited to some sort of Hardware like an oscillator?

For UART, you need to change these three parameters for changing the baud rate: .peripheralParameters.clockPrescalar, .peripheralParameters.firstModReg, .peripheralParameters.secondModReg. Instructions on how to modify these parameters please see the comment above each line of the code and also refer to section 22.3.10 in device UG. http://www.ti.com/lit/ug/slau445i/slau445i.pdf
For example, for baud rate 19200:
