MSP-EXP432P401R: MSP-EXP432P401R and simplelink sdk explorer

Part Number: MSP-EXP432P401R

Hi,

I'm using MSP-EXP432P401R and your app 'Simplelink sdk Explorer'. I'd like to add a file in the directory of the app, but if I go to File Manager of my Android I don't find any folder related to TI.

Can you help me?

Thank you.

Samuele

  • Hi Samuele,

Could you please tell me why you'd like to add a file into the directory of the app? The SimpleLink SDK Explorer Android app doesn't create an application folder on your phone by default.

If you wish to select firmware files for over the air update, the OAD app screen provides a "select firmware" button which will open an Android system file picker to allow user to browse and select files from a variety of places including local and cloud storage (so you can save the file anywhere as long as it's accessible via the Android's system file picker, aka Storage Access Framework).

    Best Regards,
    Eric C.

  • Hi Eric,

thank you for your reply. I wondered if it was possible in order to have everything in same folder. In that case I'll create it.

I saw the "select firmware" you meant and it is very useful. If I look at the "oad_firmware_update", I guess I have to set the firmware address to "2000" in the app, right? What about the "firmware version"?

    Thank you.

    Samuele
