MSP-EXP430G2ET: no usb fet was found

Now when I try to load the code on to the board through CCS, I get this error: No USB FET was found.

The board is still running my last program just fine, but I am no longer able to load another program.

Using Windows 10 and CCS version 9.2

Hi Andrew,

Can you help to check the device manager.

I think you can't find the two COM port belonging to MSP430. You need to change another launchpad or check the hardware connection.

The ports periodically disappear. Is there a way to get them back?

Not sure if this is a Windows problem or a TI problem, but it makes the board unusable.
