Part Number: TIDM-FRAM-IRREFLECTIONSENSING

Hi TI Team,

We used the reference design for our product with everything the same in hardware and firmware.

But, we are getting  too board variation in  ADC output.

Example: light average reading will flactuate too much in other boards.

Any suggestion?

Regards,

Walter

  • Hi Walter,

Did you get an IR reflection chamber being ready for you test system?

Yes. But why we have so much variation in output in different pcb boards? Is this related to tolerance?

  • In reply to Walter Macamos:

    Hi Walter,

If the ADC conversion data is stable for the same board. The the variation among different board could be related to the tolerance of the chamber and other system level. You should calibrate a base ADC result for each board during the board initialization.
