MSP-TS430PW28A: How to connect MSP430 to other products

Hello,

i would like to use MSP-TS430PW28A instead of PC for my project.

How to connect it to a control driver, sensor, and piezoelectric actuator? Do i need to buy any dedicated connectors?

Now PC is connected to them using 37-pin cables and connector.

Since the signal amplification and filter processing are performed by sensors and drivers, MSP430 will only be used for AD/DA conversion and calculation processing.

(My project is to control piezoelectric actuator.)

According to your description, you means that you would like to use MCU to control piezoelectric actuator, could you provide some details about this actuator and interface?

You means you just need use AD/DA and calculation function about MCU, this seems feasible, but you need to provide more information, which will help us discuss the appropriate solution together.

Sorry, there is one correction.

Drivers, sensors, and actuators are connected to an AD / DA converter. These are connected by BNC cables. The converter and PC are connected by a 37-pin D-sub connector.

i would like to connect MSP-TS430PW28A between the converter to PC.

Do you means use MSP430 MCU instead of AD / DA converter?

So what kind of interface does the PC and MCU link use? Looks like 37-pin D-sub connector is no longer suitable for MCU.

Hi,

I mean use MSP430 instead of ADC and PC. PC just write data.

PC and MSP-TS430PW28A are connected by USB.

I have fully understood your needs. According to your requirement, we recommend that you use F5xx series MCUs with integrated USB internally.

MSP-TS430PW28A is a target board, it supports MSP430G2xx/F2xx MCU, you can also use this MCU, but may need an external USB level conversion chip, attached F2xx/G2xx series MCU information and example code:
