MSP-EXP432E401Y: issue with sending CAN frame

Part Number: MSP-EXP432E401Y

Hello ,

i'm currently trying to send CAN frames with the MSP-EXP432E401Y. After my sniffing tool only gets me several bit-stuff errors i started measuring the Tx, Rx, CANH and CANL signals with an oscilloscope. I use the unmodified "can_singlemessage_transmit_MSP_EXP432E401Y_nortos_ccs" from ti. So the bitrate is 500 kbit/s. I think both signals don't look how they should. The frame is about 800 µs long, which means about 400 bit (50 byte) @ 500 kbit/s. As far as i know a CAN frame should be max 16 byte long (+stuff bits). The bus is terminated on both sides. Any ideas?
