MSP432P4111: Can this controller be flashed and debugged using XDS200 USB Debug Probe

Part Number: MSP432P4111

Hello All,

I have a query regarding the Debugger to be used for MSP432P4111 controller.

I have a PCB designed with this controller. Now I want to understand the Debugger to be used for this controller.

In the controller mainpage I can see "XDS110 JTAG Debug Probe" is used fo r Debugging and flashing.

But is the same controller can be debugged and flashed using latest "XDS200 USB Debug Probe" is my query?

Because I can also see in "http://www.ti.com/tool/TMDSEMU200-U", it's clearly mentioned SimpleLink MCUs (CC13xx, CC26xx, CC3x, MSP432)?

Please suggest.

  • Hi,

please see the webpage showing all available debuggers for MSP432 According to the information, the XDS200 is one of the possible options for debugging MSP432.

You can find this page by selecting the MSP432P4111 web page, then select the tab "Design&Development" and then scroll down to "Development Tools".

    Best regards

    Peter
