The customer wants to set the GPIO's PxIES register to detect an edge and generate an interrupt. Customers want to support both L → H and H → L with one port, but there is no one setting that can handle both edges. Therefore, the customer considered changing the settings during operation to deal with them. Is this a problem? Do they have any precautions when customers switch over and over during operations?
Writing to the PxIES can result in setting the interrupt flags PxIFG. So customer need clear the PxIFG after modifying the PxIES.
