MSP430F6777A: the interrupt edge for the corresponding I/O pin

Hello

The customer wants to set the GPIO's PxIES register to detect an edge and generate an interrupt.
Customers want to support both L → H and H → L with one port, but there is no one setting that can handle both edges.
Therefore, the customer considered changing the settings during operation to deal with them.
Is this a problem? Do they have any precautions when customers switch over and over during operations?

Best regards,
DDdoor

  • Hello,

Writing to the PxIES can result in setting the interrupt flags PxIFG. So customer need clear the PxIFG after modifying the PxIES.
