Dear sir

I want to use rom usb bootloader for firmware update for custom msp432e411y

for that

1, whether bsl script support usb rom bootloader ,

2, if yes means can I connect directly the host usb with msp432e411y usb or i what to use xds110 or bsl rocket?

Hello Rajesh,

My understanding is that the USB BSL is in ROM, but we do provide the source if it needs to be customized. Here is the flash based USB BSL source project that you can run.

For bootloading, You should not need the XDS110 or BSL rocket for MSP432E4 USB bootloader and can connect it directly to a PC. You can use any standard PC tool which can program a USB-DFU device may be used to download the application image.

ifor host pc ,which tool support for usb dfu upgrade

because i heard that bsl script wont support usb firmware upgrade,

please suggest any other tools

We don't have a TI specific DFU programmer, so you will just have to find a program from the web.

Dear sir

1, By connecting dfu bootloader pc host with usb of msp432 and doing reset msp432 , whether the control will automatically switch to rom usb

boot loader mode or

it possible to enter in to rom usb dfu bootloader mode without using any boot pins

note: I don't wont to use flash based boot loader

Dear sir

1, lm flash programmer supports usbdfu

2.I planned to download the usbdfu bootloader example code and load in the flash of msp432e411y

3. After that I will connect usb cable between pc host and msp432

4.using lm usbdfu , I will try to flash by application code,

and will share the result once done.
