Hi, Franz,
What device is the RTOS for? For devices in DSP group, MacOS is not supported. Not only there isn't a MacOS installer, I don't think there is CGT tools for MacOS. Unless MacOS supports virtual Machine of windows or Linux. Then, you may have a chance.

Hi, Franz,
I saw in CCS User's Guide, it mentions that it supports MacOS and only for certain devices.
Code Composer Studio device support on macOS is limited to microcontrollers (MSP, C2000, SimpleLink, Tiva and Hercules) and does not include processors (Sitara, DSP, KeyStone, mmWave).
I assume those devices may support MacOS which I am not familiar with. As you see, DSP is not included in the list. You will need to specify which device you are referring to. Then, I'll move this thread to that forum.

Hi Franz,
The TIRTOS Download Page shows Beta support for MacOS: https://software-dl.ti.com/dsps/dsps_public_sw/sdo_sb/targetcontent/tirtos/index.html
Have you tried this and confirmed that it does not work for Catalina? Note that the SIMPLELINK-CC13X2-26X2-SDK specifies MacOS Mojave: https://dev.ti.com/tirex/explore/node?a=pTTHBmu__&node=ADCz5HzpcJSUujy4TFI3Ig__pTTHBmu__LATEST

Hi Ryan,
Thank you for your response.
A customer of mine raised this inquiry as they noticed that the installer is not compatible with latest version of MacOS (Catalina version 10.15.5).
Also, as I tried to search for similar cases here in E2E, I saw a post saying that it is not compatible with MacOS catalina. Can you confirm this?

Hi Franz,
It appears from the previous thread that the TI-RTOS installer is 32-bit which is not allowed by MacOS Catalina. I will further inquire as to whether any 64-bit installers will be supported in the future.

Ryan
Feedback is that we don't plan on making any new TI-RTOS releases, just new kernel releases for SimpleLink SDKs, Processor SDKs, and stand-alone SYS/BIOS products. You can attempt this work-around: https://support.apple.com/en-gb/HT202491
