MSP430FR5739: register SYSRSTIV gives value of 0x0A

My understanding is that a "Security Violation" happens when the device tries to access protected/non-permissible areas of memory, such as the built-in BSL.  Here is an example of that on stack overflow: https://stackoverflow.com/questions/28943839/msp430-random-resets-with-security-violation-bor 

This could be related to an issue with un-initialized interrupts, DMA, Stack overflows, ect.  Kind of hard to debug.  In this E2E post, Bruce makes a good point of placing a breakpoint at the software entry point so you can break immediately after a reset and manually inspect the stack to try and see where the code last jumped: https://e2e.ti.com/support/microcontrollers/msp430/f/166/t/798186?MSP430-program-crashes-with-security-violation

This makes it sound like it should be a very repeatable issue.

 In my case, it is only happening on a single unit out of 3000, it does not happen every power up, once it happens, performing a BOR does not correct the issue but a full power cycle does correct the issue. And if it happens, it happens within seconds of powering up.

 Is there anything else that can cause a security violation?

 And does the randomness of the problem indicate something else that could be the issue?
