MSP430FR6043: problem with TOF time measurement

Hi Ekaterina,

I would recommend that you increase F2 to 430. Set User Param #8 to 128 and increase the search range to 20. Can you confirm which parameters you changed in the trans-axial tube design?

Thank you for your adviсe but these settings didn't help. I still receive zero TOF after ~10microseconds of evaluation

I have some more questions:

1. we are running MSP430FR6043EVM_USS_Gas_Demo_EVM_v2_0_AFE3v3_02_30_00_01.txt  
is it the last firmware?
2. I tried to import UltrasonicGas project but failed. What is wrong?

I studied this diagram

and I am interested in Algorithms API. It is marked as Library Pre-compiled Code but is it possible for us to get the sourse code? May be it will help to solve the original issue.

Hi Ekaterina,

The library contains sensitive IP and so it’s currently only available in binary format.  I think a systematic way of determining what might be going on with your system would be to start with zero flow and incrementally increase the flow rate until you see an issue. There are some variables in the example project which can limit the shift over which the algorithm searches for the peak in the correlation between the upstream and downstream signals.
