Dear E2E Community Members,

TI is happy to announce the launch of MSP430's FR59 and FR69 family of microcontrollers.

Today we have (1) 34 MCUs in the FR59xx family in production and (2) one MCU in the FR69xx family sampling with over 40 devices in the family releasing to production in Sept 2014.

We also have a fully updated toolsuite:

1) Check out the latest FR59 launhcpad with a NEW out of the box experience at http://www.ti.com/tool/msp-exp430fr5969

2) This launchpad will be the FIRST to support EnergyTrace++ Technology. Learn more about this new power profiling tool suite at www.ti.com/energytrace

The new platform of products with over 80 devices by September will feature:

1) 32kB-128kB of FRAM

2) 12-bit differential ADC

3) 256-bit AES accelerator

4) Cap touch I/Os

5) LCD Controller
