[FAQ] MSP432E401Y: Resetting BOOTCFG

Part Number: MSP432E401Y

Hello-

I'm doing a project with the MSP432E401Y and I have put the BOOTCFG user flash register into the wrong state.  I accidentally set it up to check the wrong pin (PA2 instead of PA3) on bootup.  My intention was to have it check if PA3 was low and if so to enter the bootloader.  Instead it is checking PA2.  I need to change it but this requires changing a bit in the BOOTCFG register from '0' to '1' and this is not allowed in flash.  Is there any way to restore the BOOTCFG value back to its default of 0xFFFFFFFE so that I can try writing it again?  thanks so much in advance.
