MSP430FR2310: 1KHz pulse stream

Part Number: MSP430FR2310

Hello,

Can you confirm that we can run up to a 1kHz pulse stream from one of the GPIO pins to Timer_B3 in LPM3 (Standby power mode, Low Power Mode 3) for the MSP430FR2310?
It seems from the datasheet that if this is possible, the current consumpion will be in the single-digit micro-amps while in this mode - is that correct?

Do you have a good power consumption calculator that we could use to check that we could meet our power budget with an MSP part? Most of the time, it would be in LPM3, assuming we can effectively count pulses in that mode. It will also be an I2C slave, and sample two ADC inputs periodically.

Thanks,

Nick
