MSP430FR5994: saturated_add_signed_long intrinsic header location

Hello,

Per the MSP430 Optimizing C/C++ Compiler v20.2.0.LTS manual, there should be an intrinsic called "saturated_add_signed_long". However, I cannot seem to figure out what header file its prototype is in...

It is not in the expected intrinsics.h file(C:\ti_ccs_10_20\ccs\tools\compiler\ti-cgt-msp430_20.2.4.LTS\include) where all the other intrinsics are (enable/disable interrupts, bic/bis registers, low power mode, etc)

Please direct me to where this intrinsic might be located, or what extern I might need to use it?

as a workaround, I just added the prototype myself to one of my project header files (extern C'd) and it compiles... but odd it is not part of the intrinsics.h file...

Thanks for reporting this and glad you found a workaround.

I'm not familiar with this intrinsic, but do also see it in Compiler v20.2.0.LTS User's Guide. Let me ask the software/compiler team to take a look at this request but it may take several days to get feedback from the correct team.
