UNIFLASH: a data verification error occurred, file load failed.

You are not using the uniflash correctly (the CC32xx is not a standard uniflash device and requires the use of ImageCreator within uniflash).

You should select one of the LAUNCHXL-CC3235SF and then start ImageCreator.

Hi Kobi,

I could not connect to the CC3235SF Launchpad within ImageCreator. It bugs after clicking on "Connect".

My launchpad is detected by Uniflash. Here is a screenshot before starting ImageCreator:

What is the error code you get after a failed connection?

The "connecting" message is just temporary - it should either succeed or fail (with error code).

Make sure the COM port is not in use (by a serial terminal app for example).

Try to reset the device (disconnect the USB) and make sure the SOP pins are 100 or 010.

Image creator should work and this is what you need to enable.

The "connection, please wait" message doesn't succeed or fail, it stays like that until I exit Uniflash, it can stay like that for hours if I don't exit.

My launchpad is the only device connected to my laptop, its COM port is not in use by any other device.

I tried to push the reset button (sw1) adn plugging-off the USB but none of these options is working.

Can you try connecting from other PC? using different USB cable? other board maybe?

Still cannot connect to it even with other PC.

Could you please do it with yours, create an image from any code (timerled_2 example from SDK for example) and send me the image so that I can try to flash it directly with Uniflash since I cannot creat mine with ImageCreator?

Could you also please craete a Webex meeting to discuss this quickly if you have time and post the solution in E2E later?

What you are describing is a very basic hardware issue that i can't understand and help you to fix.

It is not about the image because you are stuck trying to connect to the device.

The connection should happen automatically and we are not familiar with such issue.

Maybe you have an issue with the board. Did you change anything on the board?

I didn't change anything on the board. I can build and load my code to the board using CCS easilly. I also can connect to the board with Uniflash but not with Imagecreator.

I need to connect to the board to obtain the mac address so that ImageCreator can create/programm the image.

There is no problem with the Hardware.

When I click on "Abort", I show the "Aborted" message but it doesn't abort so I always have to close the whole Uniflash and start again, this is a Uniflash software issue.
