Hi,

I am working with TM4C1294NCPDT. I am trying to use with TCP and UDP together in the Ethernet.

I have two projects: TCP project work perfectly alone. and UDP project work perfectly alone.

but when I try to use them both in one project, and exception is thrown, and blocks the communication with the board. (no TCP or UDP).

How can I use the Ethernet with TCP and UDP together?

Hello Oshrit,

Our Ethernet expert is out until next week but I will try and help out with what I can on my end. A few questions to start:

1) Are you trying to do this as a client or as a server?

2) What examples did you start with to test TCP / UDP?

3) Is the project you have using two of our example projects together with nothing else added? If so, can you attach it?

I used with enet_lwip project (use TCP) and boot_demo_emac_flash project (use UDP).

And now it's working!!!!

Hi Oshrit,

Great to hear. I'll also mention that we have a UDP project in this app note that might be better to work with than the boot loader example: https://www.ti.com/lit/pdf/spma080

Ahh okay, gotcha, then yeah that project makes sense to start with. Just wanted to point it out since that is a new resource we recently released.
