High Speed USB Phy that works with TM4C129DNCZAD

I'm looking for a high speed phy that will work with the TM4C129DNCZAD.

The TUSB1210 and TUSB1211 look like candidates, but according to their datasheets the IO voltage that they support is 1.8V (abs max of <2.0V).

From what I can tell the TM4C129DNCZAD has 3.3V IO on the ULPI interface - is that correct?

If so are there any recommended high speed phys that work with the part?

Yes, TM4C129 has 3.3V IO's. Please check USB3320 part which is also 3,3V with ULPI-HS interface

Are you aware of anyone using bus transceivers (like SN75AVC4T245) translate the ULPI interface from 1.8->3.3 for PHYs with 1.8 I/O?

No. I am not aware of anyone using such a device for level shifting

Hi Amit,

Is there even timing margin on the ULPI interface of the TM4C129x such that this would be practical?

If one were to use a CBT based level shifter, would the TM4C129x ULPI pins support being driven by 1.8V IO?

Hello Anthony,

There is margin but would need very fast LS and close board routing to avoid additional delays and skews.
