Differences between EK-LM4F232 and DK-TM4C123G

Hi,

I have some LM4F232 USB+CAN Evaluation kits (EK-LM4F232).

I'd like to ask:

1. What are the differences between these EVMs and the TM4C123G USB+CAN Evaluation kit (DK-TM4C123G) in terms of HW and SW?

2. Will projects with wifi/BLE/Zigbee stacks that run on TM4C123 be able to run on LM4F232?

Thank you in advance.

Regards,

Kien

    Hi Kien,

The boards look similar. The MCUs on 2 boards are different. LM4F232 and TM4C123 both are ARM Cortex-M4F based microcontroller. They have same code speed, and same peripherals (USB, SSI, UART, PWM, ...). Their pins are not compatible, and their internal ROM has different SW (StellarisWare vs TivaWare).

    Hello Kien,

Please note that LM4F parts are not in production.
