TM4C1230C3PM: TM4C123x and TM4C129x Regulatory Inquiry

Part Number: TM4C1230C3PM
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: EK-TM4C1294XL, EK-TM4C123GXL

Hello,

I have the below questions from a customer:

What is  the CE and FCC compliance status for these boards?  I don’t see either mark on the product.  Can they be shipped to Europe?  Are there special rules or exceptions for dev boards?  What sort of documentation can you share?

Best,
Nadeem

  • Hello Nadeem,

The EK-TM4C123GXL and EK-TM4C1294XL LaunchPad's have gone through testing for the latest European standards including CE testing. The newest revisions of these boards have the proper CE markings and are allowed to be shipped into Europe. The DoC's for each are posted on the LaunchPad pages but I will link them below as well.

Since neither LaunchPad includes any built on components for wireless communication (wireless need to be added via BoosterPack or other module additions), there is no FCC testing done on these boards.

Also the MCU you listed as the part number for your question doesn't have a dedicate TI EVM, just FYI.
