EK-TM4C123GXL: Design Questions for a School Project

For my embedded systems class my lab partner and I are interested in making a Bluetooth speaker that our smart phones could connect to and sent music data to. In this class we are using the EK-TM4C123GXL launchpad and were looking for recommendations for Bluetooth and audio codec chips that could interface well with the launchpad.

If you are new to Bluetooth maybe it will take a while to learn and make a school project in a specific timeline. I suggest to use TM4C123 Launchpad projects as reference in the internet for your school project. I have a simple TM4C129 Launchpad IoT Project at my blog which you can get some ideas.
