I am unable to connect my crypto connected launchpad with the exosite cloud server. I have already programmed with the secure IOT demo.

The board MAC Id is given properly and its not connected any other users.

Able to add the board but unable to activate it even after the board is connected to the FTTH connection without any login requirement.

This device has not yet been activated or does not exist. Please activate your device or confirm the device RID and try again. (in the exosite account)

  • Hi,
Do you know if you need a proxy server to connect to the internet?
Can you try the board perhaps from your home network instead of your company netowrk? Will it work?
  • There is no proxy requirement for the network i use and is directly connected to ISP provider .
  • Hi,

Sorry about the delayed response. Is this issue resolved? I just run the qs_iot example from home where I connect the board to the home router which is directly connected to the ISP provider. I don't see any problem. I'm not sure what the problem you are having but I can say that that the example works. Please see below images. In the exocite, I remotely turn on the LED1 and LED2. I can see visually both LED are turned ON on my board and the status is displayed in the terminal window.

Did it show ONLINE on your status on the upper right of the first screen shot? One thing I notice is that I need to re-enable the device. By doing so it will generate a new CIK after which you can rerun the qs_iot to obtain the CIK.

  • Hi

Thanks for your reply I tried using the secure IOT demo, which I am able to debug and rung the program.
The issue is I am unable to connect the board to the exosite cloud after programming the board. would you please give the description of the qs_iot example could you please provide me the link or is there any possibilities of recovering the on board program so that i can check.

    Thanks in advance
    Basu
  • Hi,
Which secure IOT demo did you run? Where did you get this demo from? Are you running with the TI-RTOS? You never mentioned this in your original post.

The qs_iot example can be found in <TivaWare_Installation>/examples/boards/ek-tm4c1294xl/qs_iot. This example will connect to the exosite cloud server via the internet. However, this is not a 'secure' iot.

It is a holiday week next week. I will not be back until 2019. Please expect delayed response.
  • Hi,
I didn't hear back from you. Hopefully you have resolved the issue on your own. I will close this thread for now. If you have new questions please open a new thread or reopen this thread.
