Hello,

I have the following error in ROV when using HeapMem on external RAM.

HW:

Please see the attachemnt.

Platform:

TI 18.12.1.LTS
RTOS 2.16.0.08
XDC: 2.32.0.06

You can see the commented section in cfg. The HeapBuf works very well, in ROV.

Hi Daniel,

Can you put 0x60000000 into a memory browser and attach the first couple rows of the memory. Do the same for 0x20000f488.

Daniel,

It looks like the CCS debugger does not know about the memory. Since the 0x60000000 is not recognized as a valid address by CCS, ROV does not know what to do. Open the Tools->Debugger Options and select Memory Map and edit the gel files to add in the memory via GEL_MapAddStr line. You the existing ones as a reference.
