DK-TM4C123G: UniFlash Error Cannot read property 'DS' of undefined

Part Number: DK-TM4C123G

I'm on Windows 10 with UniFlash v4 trying to load an image (or even just verify an image) but get the error message "Cannot read property 'DS' of undefined". I'm not really sure how to troubleshoot this. I know that UniFlash v4 doesn't explicitly show support for this board, but I was hoping the EK-TM4C123GXL or the like would still work for me.

The settings I've tried thus far are:

1. EK-TM4C123GXL with Stellaris In-Circuit Debug Interface

2. TIVA TM4C123GH6PZ with Stellaris In-Circuit Debug Interface

Both with the same result. I'm guessing this error has to deal with UniFlash not recognizing the USB drivers or something, but I don't know if that's correct.

I'm looking for a way to flash this board with a binary I have. Any thoughts? Links that I might find useful?

Thanks

  • Hello Erich,

I was googling some and it sounds like the issue is not a hardware one as much as Uniflash/Windows being the problem. Can you run it under Administrator mode and see if that solves the issue? Also reports of restarting PCs or reinstalling Uniflash have solved it. I would say try each of those.

Also which version of Uniflash specifically by the way? v4.6 is the latest and one poster reporting this issue for 4.2.2 was instructed to use a newer version.

You could also try using LM Flash Programmer instead if that works: www.ti.com/.../LMFLASHPROGRAMMER
