Hi,

Please share the details of the power consumption calculation done in this reference design. How was the Power supply for the design decided...which means the current calculation mainly for the SDRAM. How was the current calculation for SDRAM Done for the design.

I would like to use reference design as it meets my requirement. But need to have a clear idea of the current calculation

Regards,

Amal

  • I am not aware of any current calculation presented in the TI design. My suggestion is to look at the electrical specifications in the data sheet of the SDRAM you will use. In the TI design example, they used a ISSI 512Mbit SDRAM Memory
