Hi,
Do we have some RTOS on TM4C123GH6PM platform?
Can I run linux on it? If not, can you give me some reasons? Thanks.

Hello Rick,
Yes, we offer TI-RTOS for Tiva C which includes the TM4C123x device family and has examples for the EK-TM4C123GXL LaunchPad. You can download it from this page: http://downloads.ti.com/dsps/dsps_public_sw/sdo_sb/targetcontent/tirtos/index.html
I have not heard of anyone running Linux on TM4C due to clock speed and memory resources. That is usually done on processors like our Sitara family.
A Cortex-M device can't run Linux as it doesn't contain a MMU.Rick Ni said:Can I run linux on it?
There is uClinux which can run on devices without a MMU. From Practical Advice on Running uClinux on Cortex-M3/M4 the suggestion is that a sensible amount of RAM is 16MB.
A TM4C123GH6PM has only 32KB of SRAM and no external memory interface, so guess that is impracticable to run uClinux.
Whereas a TM4C129 device with external RAM could be a suitable target for uClinux.
I haven't attempted to run uClinux myself.
