EK-TM4C123GXL: CAN Loop back mode for receive function test

I want to test the CAN bus send and receive functions ,according to can protocol I cann't be the sender and receiver of the same message , so using the loop back can i receive the same message ID that i send to test the receive function or sending a remote frame ?

Yes, in loopback mode an exception is made and you can receive the same message you sent. I have done this with normal frames. I suggest you try it with a remote frame and then update us with your results. I expect it too will work.
