TM4C1294NCPDT: Flashing the Binary into the Microcontroller

Dear All,

Could someone tell me the alternative way to load the binary file into TARGET MCU using FTDI 232H USB to JTAG dongle.

I have my application binary file. How can I Load using FTD USB to JTAG Programming. Is there any emulator available for TM4C1294NCPDT MCU?

Hi Sai,

If you look below, there are a few debug probes you can use to debug and load your binary to the target MCU. Personally, I have tried the one highlighted in yellow before.

Hi Charles,

Our team has developed a application using TM4C1294NCPDT Evaluation board. However, Could you please give me the direction to upload or transfer the binary file into the TM4CNCPDT MCU during the production environment?

With the help of FTDI 2232H USB TO JTAG adapter/interface.

Hi,

Is there any reason why you would not consider commercial available JTAG debug probes like the ones I mentioned in my prior post? The XDS100v2 debug probe is a low cost emulator if cost is an issue to you. I don't know enough what debuggers you can use with the FTDO 2232h. Thank you so much for giving the directions and alternative option for uploading the binary files into the target. I think, the above one really helps for me.

It means a lot and really appreciate for taking your time and helping me.

The reason I asked the question because one of the TI debugger came along with Evaluation board got fried/damaged during the production of the MCU.
