UC1625-SP: drive multiple motors?

Part Number: UC1625-SP
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TMUX7308F

Hello Guys,

Good day.

Our customers have some questions on UC1625-SP. Can this controller drive multiple motors? Also, can it work with Maxon motors? Customer is looking at EC20 flat motors Maxon provides, PN 351008.

Furthermore, would he need to get the TMUX7308F you guys offer to work with this controller?

If the UC1625-SP does not meet the requirement, are there any other space grade similar device you can suggest?

Thanks and regards,

Art

  • Hi Art,

UC1625 can only drive one sensored BLDC motor. One UC1625 ICs will be required for each motor.

Since it is sensored, it should support most any motor. That Maxon p/n does have integrated Hall Sensors, so it should be compatible.

    Thanks,

    Matt
