MCT8316Z: Is it okay to use 2.5V IO voltage when using SPI interface?

Hello TI experts,

My customer now tests MCT8316Z for their new product, and they have a question.

they want to use 2.5V IO voltage when using SPI interface.

but I found that only 1.8V / 3.3V / 5V in datasheet, page 1.

i am worried about threshold voltage of high and low when I use 2.5V IO voltage.

anyway is it possible to use 2.5V IO voltage?

Chase,

As long as your logic IO voltage is between 1.5V and 5.5V for HIGH and between 0V and 0.6V for LOW, the device should work normally. You can find these values on page 12 of the data sheet:

I believe that the values of 1.8V, 3.3V, and 5V are listed because they are common regulator output voltages for logic-level inputs.
