DRV2604: read operation when EN=Low

Hi Team,

The datasheet shows the following about EN Control.
I have understood DRV2604 sends no data in read operation when EN=Low however my customer found register data can be read even when EN=Low.
Does DRV2604 send data even when EN=Low?

Hello Allen-san,

I haven't heard which register they confirmed, so could you read Status Register (0x00)?
My customer wants to know if DRV2604 sends data in read operation even when EN=Low.
The expected result is not to send data (Hi-Z) except for ACK.

Having checked on this, If En=Low is then certain registers can still be read.
