DRV8834: Can DRV8834 support different stepper motor resolution output?

Part Number: DRV8834

Hi All,

Our smart glasses project needs to use a stepping motor to achieve diopter adjustment and interpupillary distance adjustment functions. The specific parameter requirements are as follows:

1) Diopter adjustment: 3.6V input, the phase is 2 and the step angle 18°,

2) Interpupillary distance adjustment: 5V input, the phase is 2 and the step angle 18°. While it also need to support the adjustment of the stride, and control the step stroke of the motor through pulse.

According to the information on TI’s official website, I see that DRV8834  maybe meet the requirements of diopter adjustment. But due to the interpupillary distance adjustment motor needs to adjust the step stride, I want to confirm whether DRV8834 can support different stepper motor resolution output? Or can u give a better suggestion for this application?

Thanks,

Best Regards
