The WAKE pin wakes the device up from sleep mode when the pin is toggled above 3V. Sleep mode can only be entered by writing a 1 to the SLEEP bit of register 0x9 while enable is low. If you know for certain that you won't use the sleep function, you can float the WAKE pin.
If you would not like to use the PWRGD pin, you can do the following: Float the pin, and write the DIS_VREG_PWRGD setting to b'1 via SPI when first powering the device. This option, however, would also turn off VREG undervoltage nfault reporting and SPI reporting. Your other option would be to connect this pin to a 10k Ohm pullup to Vcc.
Thank you for your reply.
We have additional question.
The DRV8305NEPHPRQ1 has the VREG pin LDO disabled,
Will the low voltage of VREG be detected and affect the PWRGD pin?
I would like to know the reason for disabling DIS_VREG_PWRGD.
