DRV8313: Custom board

I have designed a custom board for my motor using the DRV8313 chip, which I have designed as per the datasheet.

Now when I give input to my board that is 12 VOlts, my internal LDO from DRV8313 is working fine i.e. I am observing a voltage of 3.3 at the pin, but I have a zero logic level at my nFault pin, does it point to any fault in my circuit? Is there any role of sleep and reset pins?

I am trying to use it F28069M launchpad for sensored as well as sensorless FOC.

Hello Prabhat,

Can you share the schematic of the board?
Are you able to drive the motor?
nFAULT pin is an open drain and requires an external pull-up resistor. Is that included?
What is the state of the SLEEP and RESET pins?

How can I share the schematic?
No, I am unable to drive the motor.
Yes pull up resistor is included.
I am giving an active high at SLEEP pin, while RESET pin is not connected.

Hello Prabhat,

You can click the Insert button at the bottom of the new post text box and then select Image/video/file. From there click the gray text that says "Upload".

The nRESET pin needs to be pulled high for the device to operate. The pin has an internal pulldown which will put the part in a reset state if it is not pulled high.
