DRV8899-Q1: Motor full-scale current

Part Number: DRV8899-Q1

Hello Team,

I have a question regarding the current output specification on the DRV8899-Q1 controller chip. On the datasheet I see the "Motor full-scale current (xOUTx)" is limited to 0-1A, however I wanted some clarification on that. Would that be 1A per phase or would that be 1A per all phase. For example, if I have a motor rated for 1A per phase, would this chip be able to run that. Or would it's maximum motor current it could run is 500mA per phase.

Regards,

Renan
