Issue in BOOST-DRV8711_GUIv1.0

I am not very clear what issue we have. Would you start over and follow the user's guide https://www.ti.com/lit/ug/slvu967a/slvu967a.pdf step by step? And then, tell me which step cause the pop-up message or different than the user's guide.

Also, would you take a picture about the hardware connection?

Hello Sir,

I already follow the user guide step by step. Our issue is about GUI not working properly. When we start the application, then sometimes the pop error message is coming, then only we have to restart the application.  And even after starting the application properly, we are not able to operate the motor from the application. We shared pictures of the hardware connection.

I am reading the user's guide and trying to find the issue. Right now, I don't know which step you have that error message. Let me go through the user's guide to see which step could have that error message. And then, I may check with lunch pad team to see if any comment.

I saw the launchpad in the picture is different than the user's guide picture. In the user's guide, it is MSP-EXP430G2 Evaluation board | TI.com.

In your picture, it is MSP-EXP430G2ET. I am not sure what update did MSP430 do on the launchpad. Would you get MSP-EXP430G2 Evaluation board | TI.com to try the test?

The MSP430G2ET has replaced MSP430G2 in ti website. Customer can find the spec at https://www.ti.com/tool/MSP-EXP430G2ET.

BOOST-DRV8711_GUIv1.0 was released with MSP-EXP430G2. Is it possible the MSP-EXP430G2ET update causes the reading error (see the picture in the original post? Where to buy MSP-EXP430G2 (non ET)? .
