Dear Community,

we are planning a driver for fast switching 2 solenoids.

Currenlty planned spec is 48V/4A with long term perspective of 60V/6A

Must Have:

- Boost with Currentlimit

- Reverse Polarity for fast decay

- Current regulated Hold Phase

So I was looking at DRV8702-Q1 and its current sensing output S0, but its lacking a higher solenoid voltage.

I took a look at DRV8412 which is suitable but for current regulation in Hold phase a separate current detection would be necessary.

I guess it would be better to have a controller plus external Mosfets and Boost current sensing. And a separate current sensing for the adjustable hold current?

Any tips or suggestions are welcome!
