DRV110: Configuring Peak and Hold Currents via software with uController (SW) and not with passive components(DRV110)

Part Number: DRV110

Please suggest any MCU,Configuring Peak and Hold Currents via software with  uController (SW) and not with  passive components(DRV110)

  • Hi Abdul,

DRV110 requires passive components to operate as intended. Since you are interested in configuring current levels via software, the best suggestion I have for you is to design a system that has capability of switching between the pre-defined/calculated resistor networks that fits your application.

For example, you could control a MUX via software that connects the different peak/hold current configurations. Nonetheless, you will need to populate passive components regardless of what method you chose to complete your design.

TI's MSP430 Launch Pad is a great platform to develop the software capable of controlling the passive component switching.

I hope this resolves your question.

    Thanks,

    Kevin
